History

  Association of Iranian Value Engineering (SIVE) was established in 2002 and approved by the Commission of Scientific Associations of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. At this time, along with translating foreign books and papers on value engineering into persian, seminars and instructional sessions at which local and international experts attended were held. SIVE was registered on April 29, 2003 in the Firms and Non-Business Institution Registration Office. 

  Members of its constituency who founded the association are as follows:

1. Dr. Reza Ardakanian deputy minister in water affairs of Ministry of Energy of the time and a Faculty member of Sharif Technical University.
2. Dr. Mohsen Hamedi, a faculty member of mechanics department of Technical Faculty of Tehran University.
3. Dr. Mas’oud AShari’at Panahi, a faculty member of civil engineering department of Technical Faculty of Tehran University.
4. Dr. Mas’oud Tabesh, a faculty member of civil engineering department of technical faculty of Tehran University.
5. Dr. Yaghoub Gholipour, a faculty member of civil engineering department of technical faculty of Tehran University.
6. Dr. Reza Tavakoli Moghadam, a faculty member of civil engineering department of technical faculty of Tehran University.
7. Dr. Mohammad Hossain Salami, the president of Industry Faculty of Amir Kabir University.
8. Dr. Ali Reza Rahaee a faculty member of Industry College of Amir Kabir University.
9. Dr. Abbass Afshar, a faculty member of civil engineering department of technical faculty of Tehran University.
10. Dr. Ebrahim Sanaee, a faculty member of Iran Technical University.
11. Dr. Saeed Mohammad Jebel Ameli, a faculty member and the head of communication committee with Iran Industry University
